There is always talks on poverty when one talks of Asia Pacific and Europe or States as rich nations.When one speaks of poverty normally we take into consideration the income area.Ok before coming back to Asia and Pacific,I will love to refer Europe and States or say GB in particular.

The last 2 points are irrelevant if one thinks in reality,and it may not be poverty alone.I challenge the definition as well.Say earning more than 5 USD per day and expenditure (forced for survival)is more than 4 USD then what you will talk about poverty and richness. Another important fact: How many are world's richest and if one counts in terms of their wealth in their country then tell how much is their income and at what cost and their income constitute what percentage of their own country's GDP. Who is to blame then? Some one said profit will reduce poverty.But is it so?How many of these billions do business and for profit? Open question and topic for discussion please.
November 12 Talking about Report: China, India key to energy, climate - Climate Change- msnbc.comI agree with the report and expect a grim future.In WWF site,some figures of emissions were given which I post this way.9 million tons of emissions of CO2=Emissions of CO2 in 2 million cars.Just compare the growth rate.Rightly MSN Green has shown the photo of a crowd of cars from China which is symbolic.I am also concerned at WWF released figure that 0.003 % of pesticides used reach the insects.Just imagine use of pesticides in agrarian economies of China and India and where we are leading to.I am equally concerned about pollution effect on child birth in China,growing deforrestation,growth of concrete jungles every where.The growing floods and its devastating effect,change in monsoon and behavioural change in seasons in these countries are matter of concern. Equally shocking it is to know that USA is the single largest contributor to global warming with annual average of 19.6 million tons emissions per person which is five times the world's average of 3.9 million tons. The Antartica scenario presented in MSN Green again refelects the grim reality that lies ahead.It was also a matter of concern in IPCC.All should work together in the direction for atleast leaving the next genaration a safer,greener ,better world.It is Cyclone,Katrina,earthquakes,who knows what lies ahead? Basic truth behind the first and the new are all same.I wish friends to start with the Great Taj which a moghul emperor built in memory of his wife,mother of 12 children.It is prominently displayed,I mean his symbol of love.But where is the mention of the great mason and his 20000 workers who built this marvel and what happened to them.Come to Goa.The great churches speaks high of Portugese people,but have you ever seen any display of efforts of labourers,architects,simply just mentioning that this was coated with Gold or so on.All heritages are built by great architects of their times and it is at the whims and fancies of rulers of that period.Talk of Egyptian Sphinx what it is actually and till date we are not able ,in real science, on how the bodies were kept in tact.The first photo above is from ancient wonders and the present one is just one among present selected 7.Watch all,compare all,it all tells about the work of rulers who made it.But the people's work went down the ages and still it remain and will continue to remain for posterity.The tragedy of not properly reporting the back ground of making these monuments is sad.People must know.Who made this with money and power does not imply that he was the architect.How many people contributed to making the greatwall of China and who made the other marvels.The Governmental departments of different countries should also inform prominently the same at heritage site the way they display the maker(the ruler)or during whose regime it was made and inform something about the site.Tell or post please if any where how it was built described in detail.Here watch the great memorial.There is one in London another in Kolkata.Watch the grandeur.Do you know who built it.Yes we know for what memory or occasion these were built. October 19 India & Pakistan if work togetherWe have heard about Ajmer,Hyderabad,and we are aware of what happened in Delhi and what is happening in Kashmir every now and then.Similarly in Bangaladesh border area also something always takes place.In India,it is ISI work,persons responsible,the fanatics are given support by Pakistan.Even US declared lots of terrorist outfits operating from Pakistan.Also remember the Hijac kabul scenario and the ring leader prominently displayed in Pak media outlets moving freely.Always there is talk of Kashmir and it is an political issue for them.For India,it is POK where all problems exist and if Kashmir then go back to Punjab.It is in Pakistan too.In population,in size India is bigger and deliberately the photo October 18 Consumers speak and consumers peakThe revenue of a company depends on consumer's choice.Advertisement is a tool that makes them aware of a product and they compare it before making any purchase decisions.Initially if if pre sale promotion is good,then the sale will be good in the initial phase,but to retain the growth it is basically again the consumer's choice who can not be fooled twice.Now retaining the quality and continuous working on improvement in every sector is gaining importance.Companies are created and they vanish fast.A product may not be that good or advanced but if there is prompt service and problems are sorted out to customer's satisfaction,then the product may still remain his top choice. |
